The Saint Andrew Foundation was founded in March 2008 to honor St. Andrew. The purpose of The Foundation is to provide financial support to those students wishing to pursue a career in the health sciences field. Students intending to establish careers in, but not exclusive to, radiology technology, sonography, nuclear medicine, general nursing, MRI technology, dialysis technology, or laboratory sciences may apply for a $1000 tuition scholarship from The Foundation. Pre-med, hospital administration and four year studies programs are not included. Scholarships will be awarded semi-annually to selected applicants. The amounts awarded will be based on the funds available in The Foundation’s budget at the time.
The Saint Andrew Foundation is a public charity approved in March 2009 under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All of the expenses for The Foundation are paid by the founders enabling every dollar donated to go toward scholarships.
The Saint Andrew Foundation encourages students accepted at accredited institutions to apply. It is The Foundation’s belief that providing students with the means to develop the skills that lead to a successful working career enables them to perform good works as well.
